Parts Work

Niamh Harnett
Internal Family Systems Therapy
My Approach

I mainly practice Internal Family Systems (IFS), a trauma-informed, evidence-based, and non-pathologizing approach to inner work that helps us explore our inner world with curiosity and compassion. IFS invites us to connect with the different parts of ourselves—our emotions, beliefs, and patterns of behavior—many of which operate beneath the surface of our awareness.
Often, these parts hold unconscious beliefs or protect us from pain in ways that no longer serve us. Through IFS, we gently explore and understand these parts, allowing healing and transformation to happen.
My role is to create a safe, non-judgmental, and compassionate space where you feel supported as you reconnect with your own inner strength. Together, we’ll work with your natural capacity for healing, helping you develop a deeper relationship with yourself and your parts.
In this process, you are always in the lead—I simply guide and support you on the journey and provide a safe, compassionate space to do so.
